Poor Shiraz, alone amongst the Cabernets must feel trapped like Odysseus between Scylla and Charybdis, ha ha ha. It was actually pretty good.

Dark red wine with lots of tannins, blackberries and tobacco. I had a cold and didn’t like it.
Pasqua Lapaccio Primitivo del Salento 2005
A young wine with a deep red color and intense cherry and black fruit aromas. Slightly woody and alcoholic. Perfect for grilled meats and strong cheeses.
I’ll never learn. Ruby colored hot dog water.
It felt almost as if I were drinking watered down blackberry juice steeped in an oak barrel. Yuk!
Water distilled from the miasmas of the marshes in Mexico City with a drop of lemon juice. Yuck!
Concha y Toro Selección Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot 2006
A strong body with an aftertaste of berries, only drink if cheap.
Nero d’Avola Shiraz 2005
An extremely young wine full of tannins. Contains turpentine, black pepper and spicy berries. Do not drink now, maybe in a few years.
Mosel-Saar-Ruwer 2003 Piesporter Michelsberg Riesling - Spälese
A sparkling white wine full of exotic aromas and flavors of cut green grass, vanilla and a touch of plum. Quite refreshing.
